Murder Mystery Dinner

*Quick update: Josh made some new friends at school. Kendon Bagley and Max DeBaltzo. They're both married. We love them and hang out with them all the time now! And since Josh made new friends and they are married friends...we ALL made friends! Kendon and Val and Max and Corey. They are our new best friends and we love them! Just had to establish that.*

A couple of weeks ago Max hosted (at Kendon's house because it's larger) a Murder Mystery Dinner! It was a LOT of fun. We all brought food to share and got to dress up! I was Glumda the wicked witch from the armpit of OZ. While Josh was a Mr.Sheckter who was a cannibal.  I can't remember everyone's characters otherwise I'd name them all for you! Basically, every character had some weird/disturbing twist-hence the cannibal. Luckily I didn't have a creepy characteristic...I was just depressed and had a glandular sweating problem. Josh's character turned out to be a werewolf and he was murderer! The game had a lot of unexpected turns and was really fun and interesting. Meaning you had to use your brain! Which is great because I probably don't use mine enough! Haha. We all had a lot of fun and Josh and I would definitely play again.

Tim, Tim, Tim

As you probably gathered from the title of this post..it's about Tim! He is getting so big and just growing so fast! I can't believe it sometimes. He is pulling himself up on things to stand now. His balance is getting so good too! We all bet that he'll be walking by the holidays! He also now has two teeth and has been eating baby food for about 3 months now. He's doing really good with it. I think his favorite is sweet potatoes! I love this little boy to pieces. He has the cutest personality and is so darn adorable!

I'm going to miss him when they leave Wymount! P.S. See his cute skeleton Halloween outfit? So cute!

How can you not love his sweet face? :)

Josh's Chocolate Cake

A couple of weeks ago Josh had a sweet tooth...that's nothing new by the way. He usually has one at least once a day. Sometimes I swear he's worse than me with his cravings! It's so funny. We were watching the food network and they were making cakes so naturally Josh felt inspired to bake a cake! I made the most delicious chocolate frosting! He baked the cake and I put it together and frosted it. He wanted me to make sure to say that he made it though! lol. So here are some pictures of the glorious chocolate cake made by JOSH and I.

Rise and Shout!

Dad,  Jacob, Ben, and Joe came up for the BYU game on Oct. 8th.  Dad had a couple of extra tickets so Mary and Jake came with us! It was really fun. And thank goodness we won that game!

Getting to See Allen

While I was in Vegas I got to see my nephew Allen! Josh was very jealous. He is getting so big! He is starting to stand himself up on things and his crawling is getting better. He is so dang cute! I love his big eyes and elf ears!

Meeting My New Cousin, Kamryn

I was in Vegas for a week this month and while I was there I got to meet my new cousin, Kamryn. She is so beautiful!! And so tiny. I didn't want to leave her! Kamryn looks a lot like Kennedy (her sister).  Rachel and Justin did a good job! All of their kids are just gorgeous. I'm so happy that I got to hold her.

Meeting his "Parents"

Saturday night after Conference Josh's mission president had a get together.
So I got to meet President and Sister Johnson!! Josh loves this couple and I was so excited to meet them! It was so fun talking with them and with other Elders from Josh's Mission. The Johnson's want to have another Reunion at their home in San Diego next Summer. We are making a plan to go!

General Conference Weekend

G.C. weekend my in-laws came up and we went to the first session of G.C. on Saturday! Russ and Debbie stayed one night with us in our humble apartment. And then Friday night we all stayed at Aunt Rhonda's house (Russ' sister).  Conference was amazing. I loved every bit of it. The spirit was so strong in there! I love it the most when everyone stands to sing... I've always imagined what it must feel like when everyone in the conference center stands to sing. It was better than I imagined! It was incredible. I remember thinking how could anyone NOT believe that the gospel is true?? Especially after feeling the amazing spirit in that conference center! It is definitely the place to take non members.  I was very grateful that we had the opportunity to go with Russ, Debbie and Rhonda. And the weather was so beautiful that day! Just perfect.

Rescued Kittens

A few weeks ago my friend Mary and I rescued some new born kittens from a bush in our quad. Mary had heard them crying throughout the day and never saw and Mommy with them. So, later that day we decided to rescue them! There were four of them and were probably only 3-4 days old. They still had their umbilical cords! We kept them in a box and fed them breast milk through a syringe. I was lucky and got to keep them over night! A police man picked them up the next morning (which was very sad so I won't say anymore on the matter.) I had to get up every two hours during the night to feed them. They were so cute and tiny! Enjoy all the cuteness from these pictures and videos!

This little one was my favorite :)

I love when the Calico one yawns in this one. :)

And I couldn't get the other cute video to load so maybe later.

Update on Tim

I just wanted to put up some recent pictures of Tim! He's crawling around everywhere and talks up a storm! He is so cute!

I'm so glad that I still get to watch this cute little bear!

Ugly Betty Party

This past weekend we had an Ugly Betty party with our friends, the Herringtons. We saved the last Ugly Betty episode to watch together and party it up! We dressed up as characters from the show and it was hilarious.

Josh was Marc St. James and I was Amanda Tannen Sommers:

Mary was Hilda Suarez and Jake was Bobby!:

Pretty sweet, right? lol. We thought so. If you haven't seen the show look it up and watch it because it's awesome!! They have it on netflix. And we couldn't have done all of this without eating...TACOS!!! But we didn't just have tacos. We went ALL out and had corn cake, empanadas, and flan! Everything was sooooo delicious!

My flan fell apart when we tried to flip it over...I swear it still tasted good! My favorite thing were the empanadas though. Mary made them and I've been craving them ever since the party!

Thanks to the Herringtons and Ugly Betty for an awesome ending to our day and the show!

Bevell Family Reunion

Grandma and Grandpa Bevell's 50th Anniversary was this August. ALL of the Bevell's came! All 12 kids with all of their children. It was so awesome! Uncle David took family pictures for all of us. It was so fun to have everyone together. We did pictures on Friday and Saturday we had a dinner.  It all turned out really good. My 12 aunts and uncles (plus dad) did this neat alphabet thing where there went around saying something they learned from their mom and dad starting with their letter of the alphabet. It was really cool and funny to hear what everyone had to say. Then we watched an awesome slide show that Uncle Justin made. Grandpa Bevell even said a few words afterwards...which had everyone in tears. I love having such a large family! Thanks Grandma for having so many babies!

taking pictures in front of the "bed pan." lol

All their children with their spouses.

I love my sisters!

The Little Elf

I think he looks like a really cute elf! :)

Birthday with the McDonalds

The McDonald's also had a little birthday dinner for me.  Debbie and Russ were out of town on my actual birthday so they made it up to me! It was really nice of them. Alix even made me a cake! It was really fun and I love them!
